Apple announces the iPhone SE 2020 at just $399

If you have been following the leaks lately, there were two devices everyone was talking about. One was the OnePlus 8 series coming with the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro which have been released already. Next was the Apple iPhone 9 or the iPhone SE 2 or the iPhone since no one knew what Apple would call it.

Now that the device is officially launched, we know that the device is only called the iPhone SE second generation. This clearly tells you that it is the successor to iPhone SE released four years ago. At that time, the iPhone SE came with iPhone 5s body but latest internals.

The history repeats itself as iPhone SE has been launched once again with iPhone 8 body but the internals are same as iPhone 11 series since it has an A13 bionic chip, main camera from the iPhone 11 Pro and bigger battery as well as wireless charging.

This means that anyone who is not concerned about how the device looks since it has huge bezels will definitely jump on the iPhone SE. Because it has an Apple logo, a $399 price tag as well as offers most of the stuff that the iPhone 11 series offers.

We will also like to add that iPhone SE is one of the cheapest if not the cheapest phone you could get with wireless charging. Since the recently-launched OnePlus 8 does not offer wireless charging at $699 price tag, this is the phone to buy.

Also, you get the same processor as the iPhone 11 Pro so performance will not be a problem. Also, the lovers of small form factor will only have the option of buying an iPhone SE since it comes with a 4.7-inch display. As for the pre-orders of the iPhone SE, they will start from Friday, April 17. The shipping is expected to start by April 24 as per the company statement.
